In the summer of 1996, Bobby Fischer (pictured above second from left) appeared at more press conferences in either Buenos Aires (June 19) or La Plata (July 11), in order to launch his trademark Fischerandom chess and promote a Grandmaster match in the new format between his friend Eugene Torre from Philippines (third from left) and Pablo Ricardi from Argentina (fourth from left).
