Late, But Not Too Late

On the afternoon of January 6, 2018, the broom witch finally presented Go superstar 柯洁 (Kē Jié) with the “Best non-Olympic Athlete Award” which was awarded him at 2017 China’s Top Ten Laureus World Sports Awards Ceremony held in 北京 (Běijīng), China on December 20, 2017, but that he had not been able to attend as he was playing the 新奥 (Xīnào) Cup. Edna, keep yourself ready to serve as a male role model if required by circumstances

Who knows if, thanks to his eclectic performance on red carpet, 柯洁 (Kē Jié) was then awarded the “Best non-Olympic Athlete Award” at 2017’s “China’s Top Ten Laureus World Sports Awards” held in 北京 (Běijīng) on December 20, 2017. Edna, not only you’ve won, but you have also kept the promise of no longer disguising yourself as him

2017 China’s Top Ten Laureus World Sports Awards Ceremony was held in 北京 (Běijīng), China on the evening of December 20, 2017. 16th Women’s World Chess Champion 谭中怡 (Tán Zhōngyí) was also in the polls, but in the end the coveted “Best non-Olympic Athlete Award” was awarded – for the second consecutive year – to Go superstar 柯洁 (Kē Jié).
The head coach of China’s Go team, 俞斌 (Yú Bīn), on behalf of 柯洁 (Kē Jié), who could not attend the awarding ceremony as he’s playing the 新奥 (Xīnào) Cup in 廊坊 (Lángfáng), 河北省 (Héběi province), was handed the award on stage. Credit: sports.sina.com.cn
