The Women’s World Chess Championship match will be held in Lviv from 1 to 18 March 2016. Thus spoke the President of World Chess Federation (FIDE) Kirsan Nikolayevich Ilyumzhinov.
侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) from China and Mariya Muzychuk from Ukraine will contend the crown of Chess Queen. “Ukrainian Chess Federation has applied for the match and paid the fee of $100,000”, Ilyumzhinov said. “On Monday during a meeting with the Mayor of Kiev Vitali Volodymyrovych Klitschko it was agreed that next year Kiev will host one of the stages of FIDE Women’s Grand Prix series 2016-2017. It will most likely take place in October”, Ilyumzhinov also said. |
