“As far as I know, there are three possible venues to host in Lviv the Women’s World Chess Championship match”, Mariya’s father Oleg Muzychuk said. “The Potocki Palace, or the Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet, or the Railway Employees Culture Palace”.
The FIDE Commission for World Championships & Olympiads will choose the most appropriate venue after both parties signed the contract. Oleg Muzychuk assured that his daughter is ready to close this deal right now, while apparently 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) has not yet decided about what she will do, and no one knows what her intentions are. If she refuses, insisting that the match should be held in her motherland, she would lose her status of pretender, and with it, the right to play the match. |
