Genting Dream, the first of two new luxury cruise ships for Dream Cruises, made its grand debut at its new home port of 广州 (Guǎngzhōu) (南沙港 idem to say Nánshā Port) on November 13, 2016. Olympic Goddess 吴敏霞 (Wú Mǐnxiá) took part as a guest of honour at the sumptuous inaugural ceremony, attended by about a thousand people, incarnating better than anyone else the pop artist 蔡赟骅 (Cài Yūnhuá)’s painted decoration of the ship, depicting a love story between a mermaid and an astronaut.
