Gurmehar Kaur, a 20-year-old student of the Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi, India set off a social media campaign against the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) – a right-wing all India student organisation affiliated to the Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) – accusing ABVP students of destroying the college.
