In the meantime, the next challenger for the Women’s World Chess Championship 居文君 (Jū Wénjūn) is participating in the 1st Fall Chess Classic at Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. It’s not a secret that the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis aims to organise a great event, such as a World Chess Championship match, at their place, so maybe 居文君 (Jū Wénjūn) is not there only for the sake of refining her Chinglish. Yesterday she lost to Tigran Levonovich Petrosian what should have been a drawn endgame: 61. Bc8?? With only two minutes on the clock, she did not seize the chance (61. Ke3, 61. Ke2 and 61. Be6+ would have led her to a draw), losing a crucial tempo with respect to bring the King closer to the Black Pawns. 61. ... b5. Game over. 62. axb5 cxb5 63. Ke3 Kc3. Not 63. ... a4?? 64. Kd4 b4 65.
