“When I’m out and about, I observe how people move and keep an eye out for interesting colours and light. This was shot in a side street in old Nice: a girl on her phone turned to me, and the curve of the cap she was wearing created a shadow on her face, leaving only her lips in the sunlight”, the photographer says.
