失物招领处 (Lost and Found)

China has finally admitted that 孟宏伟 (Mèng Hóngweǐ), the missing Interpol President, who disappeared 12 days ago after sending an SOS message to his wife, is actually “under the monitoring and investigation” by the National Supervision Commission, China’s highest anti-corruption agency, for suspected serious violations of state law. 孟宏伟 (Mèng Hóngweǐ), 64, a senior Communist Party of China official, and a former Vice Minister of Public Security with 40 years of experience in criminal justice and policing, would apparently have been held for questioning by disciplinary authorities as soon as he landed in China on a flight from France on September 29. On October 7, 2018 Interpol announced it had received 孟宏伟 (Mèng Hóngweǐ)’s letter of resignation, with immediate effect.
