The “新纪元杯” (“New Era Cup”) in 南通 (Nántōng), 江苏省 (Jiāngsū province), China has ended today (on the first day of the new year), hopefully with a winner, but the real inspiration for most youngsters was the simultaneous exhibition performed by four-time Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), who, as usual, did not spare herself from signing autographs and posing for group pictures.
