Pictured above is the homepage of 16th World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen’s website (http://magnuscarlsen.com/) and, quite strangely, it is also the homepage of Magnus’ challenger Sergey Alexandrovich Karjakin! That’s means that the guerrilla war has started. The editor of Chess-News.ru writes: “So far, whoever will type in the address bar http://www.sergeykaryakin.com, will be immediately redirected to... http://magnuscarlsen.com/, whether he wants it or not”. Karjakin and his staff, firstly, accused the “Carlsens“ of a coup d’etat, but the firm denial of Magnus’ manager Simen Agdestein must have persuaded Sergey Alexandrovich that such matters are best dealt with after they arise. After all, so far nobody outside his intimate circle knew that he owned a web domain, and maybe he could ask Magnus to pay royalties for the additional publicity!
