The countdown has started for the 17th FINA World Aquatics Championships, which will take place in Budapest, Hungary from 14 to 30 July 2017. As for diving, all eyes will be pointed on the Chinese team, which, decimated by the retirements of its golden superstars, entrusted the defence of the “Wuthering Heights” to its last empress 施廷懋 (Shī Tíngmào) and an army of young people, who will bear on their shoulders the responsibility to be up to date with Olympic Goddess 吴敏霞 (Wú Mǐnxiá)’s swan song in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil last summer.
