As he waits for the outcome of his appeal to CAS, Russian Grandmaster Sergey Alexandrovich Karjakin has clear ideas on how to (re)organise his time and priorities: “I hasten to share this good news! I’m now involved, together with the largest IT company in Russia, in the development of a chess portal! There seems to be already a great symbiosis between professional programmers and chess players!”, he said through his Telegram account. “Many plans are set up like holding online competitions as well as online training for young players, developing innovative AI-powered anti-cheating software and much more! I hope a full-fledged Russian chess portal will see the light this year so as to no longer depend on Western platforms!”.
