Serbian tennis star and world No. 1 Novak Đoković will be able to play at this year’s U.S. Open after the U.S. government announced that “the Administration will end the COVID-19 vaccine requirements for Federal employees, Federal contractors, and international air travellers at the end of the day on May 11”. The 22-time Grand Slam Champion had to miss last year’s tournament, as well as the Miami Open and the Indian Wells Masters, because of his unvaccinated status.
