Good evening Lorenzo.

Do you follow 韦奕 (Wéi Yì) games?

He's having a good tournament so far and has a chance to win it.

Oh yes, I follow 韦奕 (Wéi Yì) regularly because I like his style and his imagination! Given his exceptional talent, one can only wonder why he hasn't won more often. I too think this could be the right time! Today's game was truly awesome, and I don't think too much credit should be given to the absolute horizon of the engines. To the honour of both contenders, it should be noted that Warmerdan might not have taken up the gauntlet, and played quieter 8. ... cxd5 (instead of 8. ... Nf2) 9. d4 dxc4 10. dxc5 Qxd1+ 11. Nxd1 f6!. As things went, he simply couldn't cope with the tactical avalanche unleashed by 韦奕 (Wéi Yì). In any case, I'm preparing for the last round, when I will be able to follow only him, for very likely 居文君 (Jū Wénjūn) and 丁立人 (Dīng Lìrén) will agree to a draw.
