On last December 12, 2023, three-time Russian Women’s Chess Champion Aleksandra Yuryevna Goryachkina was given the 2023 “PE✪PLETALK Heroine” award, an honour instituted by the homonymous Russian magazine as a recognition for outstanding successes in fields such as academics, art, sports, or other areas of interest.
