Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has apparently banned two Democratic U.S. congresswomen, Ilhan Omar (left) and Rashida Tlaib (right), from visiting the country and the Palestinian territories this weekend, after U.S. President Donald Trump publicly urged “Bibi” to deny visa to the two progressive congresswomen — in fact the only two Muslim women in Congress — for their (supposed) pro-Palestinian tendencies. Israel’s decision to block visit was condemned almost unanimously by U.S. Congress as unjust and inopportune. Photo: Jim Lo Scalzo/EPA.

In Search of Equality
Democratic congresswoman Ilhan Omar (pictured above) was vehemently and speciously attacked by U.S. President Donald Trump last Saturday on the basis of her wearing a hijab and her faith, thus fueling the hate campaign against her systematically perpetrated by the most reactionary Republicans, who didn’t feel ashamed to mendaciously claim she denied 9/11 attackers were terrorists. However, the high level of bi-partisan support she received, even if not unanimous, should encourage her to carry on with unchanged and, if possible, even stronger passion and courage her noble cause. 60 Minutes in the Life of an Urban Dancer
In her interview with CBS’ 60 Minutes last Sunday, Democratic Socialist star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez succeeded in making President Donald Trump quite angry by calling him a racist. “The President certainly didn’t invent racism. But he’s certainly given a voice to it and expanded it and created a platform for those things”, Ocasio-Cortez told the host Anderson Cooper.
“Do you believe President Trump is a racist?”, Cooper asked. “Yeah, no question”, she replied. In response, the White House promptly told 60 Minutes that “Ocasio-Cortez’s sheer ignorance on the matter can’t cover the fact that President Trump supported and passed historic criminal justice reform” and “has repeatedly condemned racism and bigotry in all forms”. |

Jeremy, it feels like Theresa is worrying at what Donald might say to Vladimir Vladimirovich. Does she think he will advise him to sue the United States?

Flashback
The First Lady of the United States Melania Trump made a surprise visit to the U.S.–Mexico border a day after U.S. President retreated on his “zero tolerance” immigration policy signing an executive order to end the separation of migrant children from their parents. The First Lady took part in briefings and attended a tour of a “nonprofit social services center for children who have entered the United States illegally and a customs and border patrol processing center”, according to a statement from her office. Earlier in the day, while boarding a plane to Texas, the First Lady appeared to be wearing a $39 khaki green Zara jacket provocatively reading “I really don’t care. Do u?”, which she then removed during the visit. Photo: Mandel Ngan/AFP/Getty Images.
