Del ladro di Seul non sono state ancora rese note le generalità complete (circola per il momento solo un nome: Park e l’età: 59 anni), ma il suo bottino è visibile in un capannone messo a disposizione dalla polizia. Lì sono esposti ben 1200 paia di scarpe frutto della sua abilità nel trafugarle soprattutto nei Funeral Home, un enorme “serbatoio” di griffe e grandi marche da rivendere a metà prezzo. È infatti usanza togliersi le scarpe in segno di rispetto prima di presenziare ad un funerale, e anche l’uomo si toglieva le sue, mettendosi poi le scarpe di qualcun altro, accuratamente scelte. Ora la polizia ha esposto le scarpe e lanciato un appello a chi le avesse perse in queste circostanze a reclamarle, controllando tra la distesa di calzature esposte, scarpe che, come da foto, sembrano assolutamente tutte uguali!
