Here is the list of players (in alphabetical order) who will participate in the 5th GRENKE Chess Classic to be held in Baden-Baden, Germany from March 31 to April 9, 2018: Viswanathan Anand, Levon Grigori Aronian, Matthias Blübaum, Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), Georg Meier, Arkadij Naiditsch, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, and Nikita Kirillovich Vitiugov. Aronian and Caruana will arrive directly from Berlin, where, from 10 to 28 March will take part in the 2018 Candidates Tournament.
