The Solvay Chess Club in Torrelavega, Autonomous Community of Cantabria, Spain announced the hiring of the former Women’s World Rapid Chess Champion and Women’s World Blitz Chess Champion Anna Olehivna Muzychuk as one of its players for the next Spanish Team Chess Championship which will take place in August.
In the afternoon of Friday, February 9, 2018, both Anna and her sister, Mariya Olehivna Muzychuk, took part in the conference “The Role of Women in the Chess World”, organised by the Solvay Chess Club and held in the halls of the Solvay Casino in Barreda. |
